I would like some assistance with 2 things, opinion on one thing and some photoshop help with another.
Number One!
My father just sent me a picture of an '83 Capri, the fox body one, in bright red. (Much like the car above, but less awesome.) Its a 4 cylinder stick car. Then he has to go and mess with brain and say, why dont you put the SHO in there? Here's the ad,
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
So i guess, what I'm asking, NPOCP, and if I do jump on it, put the SHO in here rather than the rusty Capri. I have however, just noticed, he says its a 6 cylinder, and the picture clearly shows its the 4 cylinder. RED FLAG RED FLAG. He's asking $3000, and that's in Canadian Monopoly money too.
I think my 77 is better looking than the fox body Capri, (I appologize to any fox body Capri owners who read this, its just personal preference,) and I've already done a ton of work to the Rusty Capri, so it WILL be on the road again eventually, SHO or not.
Find a push rod 5.0 Litre for the 83? Or a carbureted 351 Windsor? It pre 1988, so it doesn't need to be E-Tested.
I'm torn. Though, just writing this down has kinda turned me on to leaving the SHO for the '77 and finding a bitchin' small block for the '83.
Let the debate begin!
ITEM NUMBER TWO!
Anyone here that has a bit of free time and is good with Photoshop, or even CAD feel like doing a rendering of my '77 Capri? I kinda want to see what it would look like finished. I have all of the ideas as to what the outside would look like and it would just be a pair of 3/4 views, one from the front, one from the back. Here are the pictures I would like to start with.
The idea is to keep the headlights but use a grille that doesn't have the turn signals in it. They will be in small bumperettes like the JPS, jusy without all the swiss cheese holes for weight.
Leave the stock wheels, or add in the 13" BBS whels from the JPS
Sorry I don't have a better picture.
A small spoiler and louvers on the rear window would be cool too.
OR, Just go to town on the car and make me a bitchin' looking Capri.

You want to put the engine from an SHO in it?!? It's never quite clear in what you wrote.

They're pretty big. Foxes have fat tires out of the factory, but they somehow don't look that big on the car itself. Of course, they're not really wide by normal standards, but on these little cars they're awesomely excessive. And those are even fatter! :D
I have no idea where I'm going with this, but yeah, they're not really huge but they certainly are big.

10.5" Slicks are tight fit back there, might be what those are. Either way, tasty.
